Habla Boise Speech Therapy is a bilingual speech and language service provider.
Our primary focus is providing speech & language therapy services to both children and adult bilingual individuals in the Boise area. We provide private therapy services in-office, at home, and teletherapy.
We also provide support to parents and professionals by equipping them with the tools needed to feel confident in helping children on their journey with bilingualism.
Our Services
Consultations
Share your concerns over a free 15-minute phone call and answer screening questions. This information will help determine if a speech and language evaluation is needed.
Evaluations
A comprehensive evaluation will be conducted to learn more about your child's speech and language skills and assist in establishing a treatment plan if therapy services are needed. Adult evaluations are available as well.
Parent Support
Parent/caregiver coaching sessions will equip you with personalized and practical strategies you can use during play, reading, and routine, everyday activities to promote your child's speech and language development.
Professional development
Habla Boise provides professional development sessions to help dissect current theories and evidence on bilingualism in order to equip educators and medical professionals with practical strategies and knowledge about about bilingualism development when working with English Language Learners.
Therapy
Individual speech therapy sessions are 30-60 minutes in length. We encourage caregivers to join treatment sessions and be active participants in therapy. Carryover strategies are provided to support your child with their speech and language goals at home. Caregiver participation is a key component to our clients' success!

Owner, Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Hi! I was born and raised in Guatemala, then moved to the United States for college where I began my personal journey with bilingualism and multiculturalism.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders at the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. I am licensed by the state of Idaho and am a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I’ve had the privilege of working with children and adults in private practice, schools and home health.
Grew up in a bilingual household and received speech therapy myself! However, the lack of bilingual speech therapists at the time in Guatemala prompted my parents to seek therapy in both Guatemala and US to help my language development. I founded Habla Boise Speech Therapy to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to our bilingual families here in Boise! I’m here to answer your questions - “Will two languages confuse my child or will my child develop language the same as a one language child?”.
